I especially love training dogs.
I’ve always read about dogs, dog behavior, and
dog training. My desire to help people with training
their dog started in the early 2000’s. I had became the
owner of a dog from a friend of a friend situation.I put him in the back seat to take him home and
he growled at me. From that day on, I did everything
wrong and his aggression spread like wildfire!!
No one would help me, in fact they told me to
put him down because he was just too aggressive.
I hit the books and read any book I could get my
hands on as I needed a deeper understanding.I revisited basic training books and was pleased to
find out that the training styles had become more
positive (in the late 70’s, early 80’s it was typically punishment based). I was able to resolve his
aggression to the point where no one thought he
even had a problem. Years later, when my life had hit
a really rough spot, his aggression returned.This time, I was able to find a behaviorist that taught
me so much! That’s when I learned and saw firsthand
the damage harsh training can do. Since I have
never agreed with it, I can easily say that I would
not incorporate that into any of my training modules.
All of my sessions utilize positive reinforcement.

The basis of a well-trained dog is a good relationship with your dog and clear communication:
I TRAIN FROM THE DOG'S PERSPECTIVE - I teach you how to understand your dog better to give you better results.
I AM ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU - I help you through the ups and downs that come with owning a dog.
NOW OR LATER - Whether just a few hours after a session or a few years down the road, you'll always have me to call.
WHAT SETS ME APART
I TRAIN IN WAYS TO - Prevent future behavioral problems, build a relationship, and resolve
behavioral issues. I educate you on how your dog learns and how to build trust with your dog.IF YOU'RE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH YOUR DOG -
I work on the core of the issue to eliminate the undesired behavior. I care about why the dog is acting the way they are, I believe that solution is found within the cause.YOU'LL HAVE A TRAINER FOR LIFE - Remember long after the sessions are over, you'll always have me to call to help! Because some dogs advance slower than others, I will be there to guide you as you progress through each step and beyond.
AFFORDABILITY - I want people to reach out for help, making my services affordable is key, plus you'll get a lot more for your money with my time and dedication.
I OFFER TWO TYPES OF TRAINING SESSIONS -
1) Basic Obedience classes in a group setting.
2) Private sessions for both basic training and behavioral issues.

GROUP CLASS STRUCTURE
4 Weekly Basic Obedience Training classes $65
45 minutes up to 1 hour long sessions on set days.
I cover the Basics in a Structured Setting:
Sit, Stay, Heel, and Come.You learn how to train your dog at the beginning stages and I give you the tools now to be used to progress to advanced stages.
PRIVATE SESSIONS = No Time Limit
1 Private Session $70
2nd Private Sessions $50
Each private session is TAILOR MADE for the issues that you are having.
I work with your schedule.
Each session lasts as long as necessary; there is no time limit per session.
This is a good option if your dog is too hyper
or is fearful to come to a group class setting.
